4 stock takes in 3 days. I almost died of exhaustion. The Tung Lok stock take didn't turn out to be very fun because the branch I went was the Garuda branch selling Indonesian food, and I went at 10pm after their customers' last orders. No stock taking of expensive ingredients but ingredients in Malay names which i couldn't differentiate.
Then came an email from RMT saying I am assigned to another grp's job (Vossloh Schwabe). This team is unusually quiet. Somehow, I also didn't wish to talk much and get to know them. What a serious team! We went home at 1 and 2am and I worked on the saturday! First time working on a saturday. Thought I might have to miss my Monopoly game but luckily I finished my work and off I went!

Yes I joined the Monopoly game at PS. I was so happy when the organiser informed me via sms abt it. They must have my contacts which i have given during the previous Monopoly game. I registered online for Heat 6, but i didn't know i can register for a few heats!!! A lot of the participants registered for many heats for higher chances of qualifying for quarter-finals.
Monopoly is a game of luck, but I always believe that skills have to be involved to emerge as the winner. The guy proved me right.
Ok I must say I was pretty unlucky to be arranged to table 18 during the competition. The bankers would first give each player 3 random title deeds at the start of the game because we only had 1 hour for the game. That guy on my table was extremely lucky. By the 6th min, he traded his property with another girl and started building hotels. By the 15th min, we 3 players could just declare bankrupt. But this guy was so cunning and clever.
Instead of letting us going bankrupt, which the game would have to stop, he only acquired one of our title deeds in exchange for our debts each time we reached upon his properties. He wanted to prolong the game so that his winnings would be high. The top 64 players with the highest winnings will qualify for the quarter-finals. He knows the rules inside out, he knows how to go about not to break any rules yet clinch the deal, he knows exactly how to trade, how to bid, how to prolong the game, how to add value to his properties. In other words, he's made for the game.
Most importantly, he has the best luck in the entire monopoly competition. I can't believe I can be that suay.
I forgot to take photo with Monopoly mascot. I only knew I was too tired for anything so i headed home.
I still enjoyed the game because I really love to play Monopoly. Nowadays, its so hard to find friends to play it with me because they think its a silly game :(
Supposed to go for dim sum with family today, but I was too tired so I missed it again. Its my treat this time round because I hadn't been treating them since I got my first pay. $130!
I think my nephews are really cute, thats because nowadays I am hardly at home with them haha.
Sometimes I think NTU accountancy sucks.
